8seats is Iain’s 5th startup which launched in 2024. It will take on many messaging apps using a brand new type of interface and integrates AI. With over 25 years of working with famous international brands, Iain provided futuristic thinking and ideas to help brands survive and thrive in times of rapid technological change. His unusual skill is his ability to work equally in both the creative and technology sectors. He is the inventor behind various patents and is a serial startup founder.

Iain’s first startup Amnesia held offices in Australia, Japan and UK before being acquired by Razorfish & Microsoft. He also designed Disney’s first global website; Cisco’s first smarthome in 2000; the first 3D interactive cinema ad for Samsung. His work has won more than 50 awards, including a prestigious Webby and a W3 best in show. Some of his previous clients include IKEA, Microsoft, Samsung, Sydney Opera House, Xbox, Unilever, GM, Cisco, Mazda, Qantas and many more.
